Terms of Service

Terms of service

By commissioning me, you agreed to my terms of service.
If the client did not read the terms of service, I will not be held responsible for your own misconception.

General

  • Please give me your references and details when you make a request. It would be best if you can provide graphic/picture references rather than textual ones. 

  • The base prices include a default file size and type in the details stated HERE. If you have any additional requests on the file size or want to have the original drawing file, an additional fee will be charged. 

  • Original character designs are charged at $50 ~ $250 (based on the complexity of the request).

  • If I am not comfortable with your request, I will decline it. 

revisions

You only get three (3) minor free revisions: once during the pencil sketch stage, once during the colour sketching stage and once at the colouring phase. 

  • Minor revisions: additional items, expression changes, things that do not affect the composition or the general idea that has been proposed.

  • Major revisions: new pose, new bg, different overall outfit, anything that affects the composition of the picture and/or requires a change of more than 30% of the picture.

Additional revisions and major revisions will be charged an additional fee.

CANCELLATION & REFUNDS 

Refunds and cancellations are accepted as long as it is reasonable, however there will be a penalty as listed below:

  • If the client cancels the commission when I have finished the sketching phase:

Clients will be refunded 50% of their payment.

​

  • If the client cancels the commission when I have finished the lineart phase: 

Clients will be refunded 20% of their payment.

​​

  • If the client cancels the commission when I have started coloring:

Clients will be refunded 10% of their payment.

​

  • If I (the artist) cancel the commission, the client will be fully refunded.

payment

  • There are two methods of payment:

  1. You can make full payment before I start the commission. (Preferred)

  2. You can first make a deposit of half the final price, and then pay the rest when the sketch is done. However with this method, if you decide to cancel your commission when the 2nd payment is required, you will not get a refund.

Rights & usage

  • DO NOT claim, edit, reproduce my artwork or remove my watermark in any case. Especially DO NOT use it for NFT or AI training.

  • Commercial usages of the commissioned artwork will be charged a commercial fee of 300% of the price of the original commission piece's price.

  • I have the right to use the finished commissions in my portfolio or feature them in my artbook. Clients still own the copyright of the characters (in case they are OCs) and will be mentioned as the owner of those characters. The commissioned artworks will not be sold as prints.

  • I can publish my finished artwork without any restrictions. If you don't want your commissioned piece to be published or the publishing to be postponed later, please negotiate with me. Additional fees will apply.​

procedure

Your commission will be processed following this procedure: 

  • STEP 1: Make sure you agree to the terms and conditions above.

​

  • STEP 2: Place your request at my VGen.

​

  • STEP 3: I will reply to your request via email within 24 hours; more discussion might need to be done. After confirming the commission details with the client, I'll decide whether to take on your commission request. The rest of the procedure will proceed through VGen.

​

  • STEP 4: While the commission is progressing, I will update you twice, once during the sketching phase and another during the colouring phase. 

​

  • STEP 5: I will send you the finished product.
